Exciting news for Pune! A section of the flyover will be ready for use by April, easing traffic from Aundh to Shivajinagar.
Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole checked on the progress recently. He met with officials at Ganeshkhind Chowk. They discussed the timeline and challenges.
The section connecting to Pashan Road should be done by June. However, some delays are happening due to land issues. The project has faced setbacks because of a court stay on tree cutting.
The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority is in charge of this flyover. They are also working on the metro line from Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.
Shirole is also looking into traffic problems on FC Road. He’s asked the Pune Municipal Corporation to clear any encroachments. There are concerns about safety on that road, and officials are promising action.
Overall, it’s a busy time for Pune’s infrastructure, and these updates are definitely a step in the right direction!
