Pune residents can expect an end to water supply issues by August, as PMC assures improvements are on the way
During the meeting, PMC officials promised that new, larger water tanks would be up and running by August. They also mentioned that other infrastructure projects linked to water supply would be finished around the same time.
Residents in central Pune have been feeling the pinch due to water shortages. The delays in the 24×7 water supply project have been a constant worry for many. But there’s hope that once the new systems are in place, things will get better.
MLA Shirole is pushing for the administration to speed things up and make sure everything is done on time. This project is part of a bigger plan by PMC to provide round-the-clock water supply across the city, aiming to cut down on shortages and improve distribution.
While the promise of completion by August is a relief, residents will still have to cope with limited water supply until then. Fingers crossed that the situation improves soon!
