Pune: Residents are really upset with the Vertillas Builder. They’re claiming fraud and saying the builder hasn’t kept his promises. It’s a tough situation for many folks who bought flats there.

One buyer, Advocate Paresh Thorat, shared that the builder got extensions from RERA using what they think are fake documents. It seems like he’s been playing with the rules and not being honest. Plus, there are complaints about misusing funds and not paying GST.

Another buyer, Dr. Supriya, mentioned that the project has been dragging on since 2013. Originally called Le Reve, it was sold to 130 people in 2023, with promises of possession by June 2024. But now, the builder has taken 90% of the payment and there’s hardly any construction happening.

People are really feeling the pinch, paying high EMIs and rent without any compensation or possession. They’re planning a peaceful protest from the Kharadi police station to the Vertillas site to get the authorities to notice and help them out.

When Pune Pulse tried to reach the builder, his phone was out of service. It’s a frustrating situation for everyone involved, and they just want some justice.
