Pune Police have made a significant bust, seizing seven pistols and arresting nine individuals linked to illegal firearms distribution
But wait, it gets better. The police dug deeper and found Subhash Margale. He got the pistol from Sagar Dhebe. Dhebe was scared after surviving an attack last November. He had actually bought seven pistols from a dealer in Madhya Pradesh. He was handing them out to friends and family, including some shady characters.
Thanks to some solid teamwork, the police nabbed everyone involved. They recovered all seven pistols and the cartridges too. Shailesh Balkawade, the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), said their quick action probably stopped a murder from happening.
Now, they’ve filed an FIR at Alankar police station under the Arms Act. The investigation is still rolling on with Assistant Police Inspector Dnyaneshwar Dhavale leading the charge.
