The central government has sent a team to Pune to help manage the growing cases of Guillain Barre Syndrome and support local health efforts
To tackle this, the Union Ministry of Health has sent a team of seven experts to help out. They’re coming from various places, including the National Centre for Disease Control and the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences.
Last week, three experts were already on the ground, but with the number of cases rising, they decided to send more help. The team will work closely with local health officials to figure out what needs to be done.
It’s a tough situation, but the goal is to provide the best care possible. Four patients have already been discharged, which is a good sign. Everyone is hoping for a quick resolution to this health crisis.
