Wanowrie’s evolution from a once underdeveloped locality into a better-planned urban neighbourhood has been strongly influenced by the long-standing civic leadership of the Shivarkar family. Over nearly 30 years, three members of the family have served as corporators, contributing to sustained infrastructure development, improved public services and enhanced community facilities.
