According to the advisory, dense fog prevailing across North India on December 29, 2025, has reduced visibility levels at multiple airports, leading to operational challenges for airlines. Passengers travelling to or from Pune Airport on routes linked to northern destinations have been advised to stay in regular contact with their respective airlines for the latest updates before heading to the airport.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has activated passenger facilitation measures at affected airports and deployed assistance teams to support travellers on the ground. These teams are assisting passengers with information, coordination and necessary on-site support to minimise inconvenience caused by weather-related delays.
