Toronto police have identified Himanshi Khurana, 30, as the victim of a homicide they say appears to be an act of intimate partner violence.

Officers say they responded to a report of a missing person in the Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street W. area on Friday night.

On Saturday around 6:30 a.m., police say they located the missing woman’s body in a residence.

Police have issued a warrant for Abdul Ghafoori, 32, for first-degree murder.
