Pune: So, here’s the scoop! The Triveninagar Spine Road project has been stuck for a while, but it’s finally getting some love. The Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority kicked things off back in 2011, but a small stretch of 320 meters near Triveninagar Chowk was left hanging.

Why? Well, they needed to sort out the resettlement for the folks affected. But good ol’ MLA Mahesh Landge didn’t give up. He kept nudging the district administration and the land acquisition department until they finally approved the funds.

Now, they’ve sanctioned ₹15.43 crore for about 15,409 square meters of land. This is all happening under the 2013 Land Acquisition Act, which means fair compensation is on the table.

Once this road is done, it’s going to make a huge difference. Traffic jams at Triveninagar Chowk? Gone! Plus, it’ll connect key areas like Durganagar, Talawade, Nigdi, and Bhosari. It’s also going to link up with major routes like the Alandi-Pune Palakhi route and the Mumbai-Pune Highway.

Mahesh Landge said it best: “This completion will really help thousands of commuters every day.” So, fingers crossed, we’ll see some smooth sailing soon!
